All-Star Funds Portfolio – The goal is to use what the Investment Committee determines as the "best of class" funds in particular asset classes without the limitation of using funds from just one fund family. Available funds are analyzed to determine the most appropriate selection for each asset class.
All Star - Q3 - 2010
Core/Satellite Portfolio – This strategy combines index Exchange Traded Funds ("ETFs") or index mutual funds with actively managed mutual funds. This program combines the efficiency and low costs of index exchange traded funds with the benefits of having actively managed funds in certain asset classes where (a) there isn’t an appropriate index available or (b) we believe the use of an active manager can provide either a risk or return benefit.
Core Satellite - Q2 - 2010
Core/Satellite Portfolio, Tax Advantaged – This strategy combines index Exchange Traded Funds ("ETFs") or index mutual funds with actively managed mutual funds. Tax efficiency is achieved by utilizing tax efficient ETFs or index mutual funds along with municipal bond funds where appropriate. This program combines the efficiency and low costs of index exchange traded funds with the benefits of having actively managed funds in certain asset classes where (a) there isn’t an appropriate index available or (b) we believe the use of an active manager can provide either a risk or return benefit.
Core Satellite, Tax Advantaged - Q2 - 2010
ETF Portfolio - Asset allocations in this program primarily use Exchange Traded Funds ("ETFs"). In the case where an appropriate ETF is not available for a particular asset class, Iron Point may utilize a no-load/load-waived mutual fund or exchange traded note in its place. The program offers the individual investor the flexibility of investing in a strategically allocated portfolio of ETFs, which are attractive because they provide liquid, low cost, tax-efficient exposure to a wide range of asset classes. The ETF program is suitable for: high net worth individuals interested in minimizing tax liabilities; clients with "money in motion", new money or large lump sums; clients wanting broad sector diversification without purchasing individual equities; individuals with a long-term time horizon.
ETF - Q2 - 2010

The program offers the individual investor the flexibility of investing in a strategically allocated portfolio of ETFs, which are attractive because they provide liquid, low cost, tax-efficient exposure to a wide range of asset classes. Tax managed strategies are available for clients with non-qualified accounts. The ETF program is suitable for: high net worth individuals interested in minimizing tax liabilities; clients with "money in motion", new money or large lump sums; clients wanting broad s ector diversification without purchasing individual equities; individuals with a long-term time horizon.

Tactical Alternative - The portfolios in this strategy are designed for the investor seeking broad diversification across different asset classes with an emphasis on low correlating investments. The portfolio is constructed with the objective of achieving a positive rate of return over time that doesn’t move in tandem with broad market movements. Thus, in sideways or down trending markets the strategies have the potential to outperform the overall market. To achieve this goal, alternative investments are used for a large portion of the allocation. Alternative investments include such areas as market neutral funds, global macro funds, real estate based instruments, commodities related instruments, and managed future funds. Index funds will also be utilized for a portion of the portfolio in areas of the equity or bond markets, and will be complemented by a more active tactical component that can adjust to the current market environment. There are three models to choose from, depending on the risk and return requirements of the client:
