Philip S. Blancato

Philip is the President of Ladenburg Thalmann Asset Management where his primary responsibilities involve creating and distributing high net worth fee-based platforms and serving as the managing member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee which determines the strategic outlook for all the firm’s clients’ investments. Mr. Blancato is also a Member of the Board of Directors of each of the firm’s subsidiary companies, Ladenburg Thalmann and Co. Inc., Triad Advisors, Inc. and Investacorp, Inc. where he helps make strategic decisions about each company’s initiatives. Prior to joining Ladenburg Thalmann Mr. Blancato worked for PowellJohnson as the Managing Director of Advisory Services where, similar to his responsibilities at Ladenburg Thalmann, he directed the creation and implementation of a suite of fee-based platforms. Mr. Blancato also worked at Prudential Securities for twelve years where he held various positions within the Investment Management Services division including First Vice President and Director of Portfolio Management Programs where he developed and improved upon the positioning and functionality of discretionary fee-based programs. During his tenure, the Portfolio Management division became one of the most successful divisions within Prudential Securities with assets in excess of $16 billion. In 1990 Mr. Blancato received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Kean University and in 1998 a Marketing Continuing Education degree from New York University. In 2005 Mr. Blancato completed the Securities Industry Association accredited program at Wharton Business School.

Jaime L. Desmond

Jaime is the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Ladenburg Thalmann Asset Management. She is the liaison for strategic partnerships and oversees all vendor relationships for research, billing, trading, and performance reporting. Jaime joined Ladenburg Thalmann from PowellJohnson where she was an Associate Director of Advisory Services where she created and managed the suite of fee-based platforms and established a career development program for the firm’s Advisors with a specific focus on fiduciary responsibilities, Advisor coaching and team building. Prior to PowellJohnson, Jaime worked for Prudential Securities as an Associate Vice President and Manager of the Prudential Securities Portfolio Managed department overseeing 500 Financial Advisors and $4 billion in assets under management. She started her career at PaineWebber in the training department, as the program coordinator for the Investment Management Consulting program, a specialized portfolio management training course. Jaime received a Bachelor of Arts from Pennsylvania State University and holds licenses as a General Securities Representative, a Uniform Securities States Agent, and a Uniform Investment Advisor and completed the Accredited Investment Fiduciary course.

Stuart A. Evans

Suart is the Chief Compliance Officer of LTAM and has been a financial professional for more than 15 years with experience in all aspects of broker/dealer development, operations and compliance. He started his career as a registered representative for a large securities firm, moving on to regional manager and OSJ manager positions. In 2003, Stuart joined the back office of a midsize broker dealer in the role of National Sales Coordinator and soon became their Director of Operations. As the Chief Compliance Officer, he oversees the advisory compliance and guides policy decisions for the firm. Stuart holds Series 7, 24, 53, 63, and 66 licenses as well as a California Life, Health and Variable Contract License. Stu enjoys playing tennis and golf. He has a Bachelor of Arts in History from Randolph Macon College.

David is an Analyst of Asset Management for Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. He has been working at Ladenburg Thalmann since August 2007, and is responsible for conducting market research and analysis for Ladenburg Asset Management Program (LAMP), Ladenburg Thalmann 401(k), and manager research for Ladenburg Thalmann Investment Consulting Services (ICS). David is a member of the Investment Policy Committee that determines the strategic asset allocation for the firm’s managed programs and is also responsible for trading on LAMP accounts. Prior to working at Ladenburg Thalmann, David attended Washington University in St. Louis where he received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics, Finance and Economics as well as his Masters of Science in Finance. David has gained experience in the financial industry through numerous Wall Street internships including Morgan Stanley Global Wealth Management and Bear Stearns F.A.S.T Fixed Income program. He is licensed as a General Securities Representative, a Uniform Securities States Agent, and a Uniform Investment Advisor.

Paige is an Associate Vice President of Asset Management for Ladenburg Thalmann & Co, Inc. She has been in the financial services industry since 2004 and has been working at Ladenburg Thalmann since 2006. She is responsible for conducting market research and analysis for the asset management division. She performs due diligence for the Ladenburg Asset Management Program (LAMP), Ladenburg Thalmann Investment Consulting Services (ICS), and Ladenburg Thalmann 401(k). She is a member of the Investment Policy Committee that determines the investment strategy and fund selection of the LTAM products. Prior to working at Ladenburg Thalmann, she worked in the Purchase and Sales Division at Cantor Fitzgerald. She holds licenses as a General Securities Representative, a Uniform Securities States Agent, and a Uniform Investment Advisor. Paige attended the A.B. Freeman School of Business, Tulane University and received a Masters of Finance as well as attended Newcomb College, Tulane University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.

Maria is an Associate for Ladenburg Thalmann Asset Management. She has been working in the financial services industry since 1978 and has been working at Ladenburg Thalmann since the merger of Punk, Ziegel & Company in May 2008. At Punk, Ziegel, & Company she was the Human Resources Director responsible for payroll, benefits, and accounting. As part of the Asset Management Group her main responsibilities are accounting as well as processing the client billing for the Registered Investment Advisory companies.

Jeffrey is the Marketing Associate for Ladenburg Thalmann Asset Management. He is responsible for marketing and training advisors on the advisory services products. Jeffrey graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Business Administration. He was an intern at Ladenburg Thalmann Asset Management during the summer of 2008. Throughout college he worked at the Baton Rouge office of the law firm of Strain, Dennis, and Bates. He is licensed as a General Securities Representative, a Uniform Securities States Agent, and a Uniform Investment Advisor.

Shannon M. Beahan

Shannon is an Associate for Ladenburg Thalmann Asset Management. She has been working with financial advisors since 2006, previously with Ironpoint Capital Management. As an associate with LTAM, Shannon assists advisors with all of their account needs and is the primary person responsible for trading client accounts. She also helps to promote and enhance sales opportunities for the firm. Her primary objective is to ensure a very high level of customer service to all of the advisors and their clients. Shannon graduated from Excelsior College, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting. Shannon holds series 7 and 66 registrations. In her spare time, Shannon volunteers with the SPCA and the Susan Komen Foundation. She also enjoys running, camping and pursuing her interest in automotive racing.

Prior to working at Ladenburg Thalmann, Patrick worked as a Financial Statement Specialist at Whitney National Bank in New Orleans. Patrick attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Patrick was an intern with Ladenburg Thalmann Asset Management during the summer of 2009. Throughout college, he interned for Wachovia Securities in Baton Rouge. He is licensed as a General Securities Representative, a Uniform Securities States Agent, and a Uniform Investment Advisor.
